Correction and Attitude control Credit: NASA
Just like any other orbiting spacecraft, the refueling station will need frequent adjustments made in order to counter atmospheric drag and maintain its proper orbit.
Current International Space Station reboosting methods use the progress module, service module, and fgb module rocket engines, which utilize dinitrogen tetroxide and dimethylhydrazine as their source of fuel. We will research methods to modify them to use liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen if possible, otherwise, we will look into using an electric propulsion system that has been pitched previously by NASA.
